On the 33rd floor, the top floor of Building 124, sits the sky lounge « Cloud 33. » Beyond the floor-to-ceiling windows, the views of Bangbae-dong, Umyeonsan and Gwanaksan unfold at a glance.
On the inner wall, Navet’s mural takes the form of three works1 in dialogue with one another. Offering three views, or three ways of looking at a single garden, the paintings invite residents to step into the picture.
Drawing and painting every day during his stay in Korea, Navet gathered impressions of Seoul’s city center. He then drew on this visual vocabulary, along with the view of Mt. Gwanak from the lounge, to compose the mural.
The space is connected to « Step Garden, » a terraced garden.
